Let’s together shape Japan’s future, which faces labor shortages, by leveraging cutting-edge AI and robotics.

Japan is currently facing an unprecedented crisis of severe labor shortages. In logistics, manufacturing, construction, and service industries alike, the limits of human labor are becoming increasingly apparent.
We are determined to confront this challenge head-on and pioneer the future with a powerful weapon: Physical AI.
Dexterity-SC Japan is a collaboration between the cutting-edge American robotics unicorn Dexterity and Sumitomo Corporation, a leader in diverse industries. Together, we aim to solve labor shortages across sectors through groundbreaking technology we call “Physical AI.”
Our first mission is to fully automate the previously impossible task of loading operations. Our AI-powered robots can recognize, assess, and load packages of all shapes and sizes in real-time.
This is not merely incremental efficiency improvement in logistics. It liberates tasks once deemed “only possible by humans” from being bottlenecks, enabling a complete redesign of logistics systems.
The current automation trends are just the beginning. Real-world operations in every industry are filled with complexities beyond any manual or rulebook.
That is why we are seeking bold, curious individuals unafraid of change—people excited by the unknown.
If you want to shape the future with your own hands, and move society forward through AI and robotics, your challenge will drive Japan—and the world.
We welcome passionate professionals ready to stand at the forefront of this transformation.
